However, their brief bloom period, which usually occurs in the spring, is over before you know it, and you must wait a full year to see fresh flowers. However, Blue Moon Wisteria (Wisteria macrostachya 'Blue Moon') is an exception. With up to three consecutive bloom times each growing season, this natural wisteria species will captivate you! Grows best on slightly acidic, humusy, somewhat fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Full sun is required for optimal blooming. This vine requires room and a strong support system to develop.
