Little Lime Hydrangea is a small green/white sun hydrangea that is care free and long blooming. ‘Little Lime’ will jazz up basic foundation plantings and add interest to perennial borders and cut flower arrangements. Like big sister ‘Limelight’, ‘Little Lime’ blooms summer through fall, requiring just one quick winter pruning. The 3-5 foot smaller size means it can be used under lower windows, along walkways and in perennial borders where it takes center stage in mid-summer. Run a low hedge of boxwood in front of a row of ‘Little Lime’ for classic garden style.
‘Little Lime’ flower heads are green/white when they first emerge. As the summer yields to cooler temperatures of fall, the inflorescence take on subtle pink and green earth tones. Cold hardy in zones 3-8, there is a place for Hydrangea ‘Little Lime’ in every garden, large or small! Great for use in a white blooming garden.
Little Lime along with the other piniculata varieties we offer make great container plants that can be moved around the garden area or pool are as needed.
