What you need to know
As a container tree you will have little maintenance other than watering and trimming in the spring to shape. We recommend using our 360-day timed release fertilizer HI COTE 19-4-12 for year-round feeding. As a container planter remember to water thoroughly each time till the water runs out of the bottom holes od your pot. This will reduce frequency and causing root issues.
Creative Ideas
If your container is large enough, you can pair your tree with complimentary plants like Dwarf Mondo Grass, Blue Pacific Juniper, Foxtail Ferns, or Vinca vines.
