Perfect for gardeners of any level of experience, this beautiful red rose will bring a vibrant and stunning touch to any landscape, as long as it is given the care and attention it deserves.

Caring for your Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose is a fulfilling activity that adds to the allure and pleasure of your garden. By applying proper techniques, one can relish in the beauty of its exquisite blossoms and captivating aroma all year long.

Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose care:

Plant during the optimal seasons of early spring through late fall, when temperatures are optimal. Select a suitable area that receives ample sunlight for a significant portion of the day and has soil that drains well. Prepare the soil by adding compost and a balanced, slow-release fertilizer to provide your rose with optimal conditions for growth. Ensure proper planting depth and spacing by positioning the rose bush with the graft union slightly below the soil surface. It is important to space multiple plants at least three feet apart to promote optimal air circulation.

Watering roses:

Ensure that the Cinnamon Hearts™ Roses receive a thorough watering once a week, giving the soil a chance to slightly dry out between each watering. Adjust the frequency of watering during periods of high heat and dryness.

Watering at the base of the plant is recommended to minimize the risk of leaf diseases. Avoiding overhead watering can be beneficial for plant health. Use our MOISTURE MAXX non-ionic wetting agent all year or during times of drought for extended help keeping your plants well hydrated for up to 40 days.

How to grow healthy roses:

Follow this fertilizing schedule to ensure your Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose plants receive the nourishment they need. Begin by feeding them early in the season and continue to do so every 4-6 weeks until late summer, or use our SR -18-5-10   slow release fertilizer or a one time feeding. Applying a 2-3 inch layer of organic mulch around the base can provide numerous benefits. It helps to retain moisture, regulate soil temperature, and effectively suppress weeds. Types of mulch: choose for shredded bark, cocoa bean shells, or composted leaves. Timing is crucial when it comes to pruning. It is best to prune in late winter or early spring, just before new growth begins. Learn the art of pruning: Eliminate any lifeless or infected branches, create space in crowded areas, and trim stems to a thriving bud in order to sculpt the plant and encourage robust development.
