Strobe™ Weigela | Weigela x 'WOF/R' USPP30866, CPBRAF

One of the dazzling hues of StrobeTM Weigela can slip your mind if you blink too quickly. From spring till fall, you can witness vibrant pink blossoms amidst verdant, golden, orange, and finally crimson-red foliage. Spend less time caring for it and more time dancing or relaxing in whatever way you prefer thanks to its compact design and low maintenance requirements! Expert tip: mild trimming immediately following the initial blossoms' completion will promote rebloom.

The Strobe™ Weigela is a beautiful, small plant that gives any yard bright color and interesting texture. It does well in a wide range of climates, from cooler areas in the north to warmer yards in the south. It is hardy in USDA Zones 4–7. Its dark green leaves look nice next to its showy, trumpet-shaped flowers that burst with rich, bright shades of pink. They make a striking contrast with the leaves. The Strobe™ Weigela grows to be 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide when it's fully grown. This makes it perfect for smaller gardens, foundation plants, or as a colorful hedge.

This cultivar is great for any plant because it can grow in a variety of conditions and looks stunning. It's a great plant for drawing pollinators like bees and hummingbirds, which makes it an important part of a pollinator-friendly garden. Strobe™ Weigela is also known for not being hurt by deer, which helps keep your garden safe from these common garden pests. It is also thought to be safe for pets, which makes it a great choice for homes with dogs.

General Care Strobe™ It's best for weigela to grow in wet, well-drained soil that gets only a little shade. For the best growth, water often, especially when it's dry, but make sure the dirt doesn't get too wet. Put mulch around the base to help keep the dirt moist and even out the temperature. To keep the plant's shape and help it grow new leaves, prune it after it blooms. Use a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to encourage healthy growth all through the growing season. If you follow these easy care tips, you'll have a beautiful and long-lasting addition to your yard for many years.
