Candy Corn® Spirea | Spirea japonica ‘Double Play’® ‘Candy Corn’®
Double Play® Candy Corn® Spirea is the most colorful shrub spirea on the market. A mounding specimen, Candy Corn® Spirea grows to the hieght of 18'-24" in height spreading to 18'-30' in width. Bright pineapple/yellow foliage is enhanced with clusters of purple flowers, blooming on the new foliage, giving this spirea a spectacular show from late spring to summer. But that's not all, Fall is when this little spirea that could gives again! As soon as temperatures start to cool, the foliage on Candy Corn® spirea starts turning shades of orange, red, and yellow completing it's final show of the year.
Candy Corn® Spirea has many uses in the garden and perform best in the full sun or part shade as a specimen planting, garden border, even a filler in large container planters. This spirea is super hardy growing in zones 4-9 needing very little pruning or spraying.
Candy Corn® Spirea is deer and rabbit resistant, another plus for this hardy spirea.
