Furthermore, the gorgeous variety of boulevard olympia clematis sets an impressive mark with its luxurious blossoms. With these exceptional clematis species, elevate your gardens' appeal with the epitome of nature's beauty and elegance.

Clematis is making a great comeback into the garden world. Know as an “Granma’s vine”, we are seeing a resurgence for this neat vine. Clematis is delicate vine which actually is very strong and study once it is established. It thrives in full sun and part shade, so its uses are expanded for most landscapes. You have sun, shade, or both which can be a bonus with Clematis. Clematis is quite hardy and take cold as well as heat. Here in Alabama were the humidity and heat both reach into the 100%, 100◦ range it fairs very good. It will thrive in cooler regions too, living in zone 4.

Olympia is one of our favorites with customers in zones 4-9. A more compact grower, 4-5" Bluish-lavender flowers and yellow centers (anthers) are free-flowering on both leaf axils and stems making this a fuller more vibrant choice. Used on trellis, fence, or pergolas for cover, shade, or the attraction of beneficials such as bees and hummingbirds.

Once planted Clematis will need a good bit mulch around the base of the vine to keep roots cool and moist. They like their faces in the sun, but feet in the shade! Seasonal trimming will need to happen to keep Clematis blooming, which means the more you trim and shape more blooms that get generated.
